Saiyuen is hosting a 3-day, 2-night Winter Growth & Independence Camp from December 27-29. Children aged 8-12 can enjoy fun activities unique to Cheung Chau while making new friends from different families. In the safe and natural environment of Saiyuen, participants will face various challenges through tasks and games, learning the spirit of cooperation and sportsmanship. Kids will also develop mental resilience and cultivate essential independence skills that are useful for both outdoor and urban living. | |

Terms and Conditions |
* If the number of participants is insufficient two weeks before the event, Saiyuen reserves the right to cancel any applications, and the registration fee will be refunded to the applicant. |
* If a participant feels unwell during the camp and needs to leave, parents must come to the Saiyuen to pick them up and seek medical attention promptly. |
* This event is conducted in a training format; participants must follow the instructors' guidance, camp rules, and regulations. |
* The activities will be conducted in Cantonese, with English support. |
* Once registration is confirmed, no refunds will be issued for withdrawals or absences, except in special circumstances at the Saiyuen's discretion. |
* Saiyuen provides a refund arrangement for sick leave with a doctor's certificate, with an administrative fee of HKD 800 |
* Refunds or schedule changes will be arranged for medical leave with a doctor's note, based on the number of affected days. |
* All activities will proceed as scheduled when the Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 1 or Yellow Rainstorm Warning is in effect. If weather conditions are unstable, outdoor activities will be moved indoors. |
* All activities will be canceled if the Observatory issues a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning, Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 3 or higher, or forecasts that a Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 3 or higher will be issued. |
* If the weather on the day of the camp is poor, but the Observatory has not issued any severe weather warning signals, the coach will assess the suitability of proceeding with the activity based on the local weather conditions. If participants do not attend the activity due to personal reasons, they will be considered to have forfeited their right to participate and will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling |
* In case of severe weather conditions during the program, Saiyuen's staff will notify parents regarding arrangements. |
* The activity schedule is for reference only; Saiyuen will adjust activities as needed to ensure the safety and experience of participants and instructors. |
* Participants must adhere to the instructors' guidance, camp rules, and site regulations. Any violations or inappropriate behavior will result in termination of participation to ensure the safety and experience of other participants. |
* Participants should take personal mosquito prevention measures as Saiyuen is located in a rural area conducive to insect growth. |
* Summer camp activities, content, and times may change based on on-site conditions without prior notice. |
* After participants make the payment, they must read the activity details and all terms and conditions. By exercising reasonable judgment, they agree to accept the activity plan and all terms, and they agree to assume all risks and consequences associated with the activity, including those related to weather, transportation, and other third-party facilities. If the actions of the participants or their participation result in property damage or personal injury to third parties, participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless all other parties from any related claims. |
* Saiyuen reserves the final right of interpretation regarding the above terms. |
