Are you preparing for your kids' long summer vacation? Sign up for the 3-day, 2-night "STEAM Adventurer: Saiyuen Summer Exploration Camp." In the safe and natural environment of Saiyuen in Cheung Chau, kids will spend a fulfilling three days with new friends. At this exploration camp, children will inquire and think critically about science, technology, art, engineering, and maths within the context of nature, following the foundations of STEAM learning. Through individual challenges and group work, children will enhance their creativity, improve problem solving skills, and increase their teamworking abilities. For those interested in organizing a private group session with friends or classmates, a minimum of 12 participants is required to schedule a private session. Sample Itinerary Day 1: - A first taste of wild cooking: campers make pizza from scratch, cooking it in our wood-fired earth oven
- Follow Cheung Po Tsai’s historical trail in a pirate treasure hunt
- Learn about the nocturnal world in a special nighttime eco-exploration activity
Day 2: - Use engineering and chemistry techniques to filter water for survival
- Team up to build a raft in this collaborative challenge
- Ultimate camping experience: stargaze by our campfire
Day 3: - A physical and mental challenge: our signature tree top canopy walk and zipline
- Examine the art of nature and explore its unique patterns and textures through our wood grain rubbing workshop

F A Q : - What safety provisions do you have in place?
- We have 24h security and are a fully licensed campsite (HAD6668)
- Coaches have a range of local and international certifications including the High & Low Event Level Instructor Certificates
- Saiyuen staff are trained in CPR, AED, and first aid
- Cheung Chau is served by St. John’s Hospital which provides primary, emergency, and community health services
- What should my child bring?
- Octopus card

- Comfortable sportswear (e.g. dry-fit clothing)
- Enough clothes for for 3 days, 2 nights
- Closed-toe shoes + sandals

Terms & Conditions - Participants must follow instructor guidelines and campsite rules.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations/no-shows
- Participants who cancel their attendance due to illness must provide a valid doctor's certificate to be eligible for a partial refund or rescheduling. Please notify us immediately by calling (852) 2981 1010
- Weather Policy:
- Camp runs as scheduled under Amber Rain/T1 warnings (outdoor activities may move indoors).
- Cancelled if Red/Black Rainstorm or T3+ Typhoon warnings are issued. Participants will be refunded or program will be rescheduled
- Program is subject to change for safety; parents will be notified of adjustments.
- Participants may be dismissed from the camp without refund for misconduct, including disruptive behavior or failure to follow safety guidelines, at the discretion of Saiyuen staff.
- Participants are required to notify staff of any dietary restrictions or special accommodations in advance.
- Saiyuen reserves the right of final interpretation of the above terms and conditions.
